The entry is members-only, but basically it's the members of ontd and the lj fans discovering westeros.org fans... and the fact that the fanboys don't like the girls getting their paws/hormones/glittertext on their toys. Or something.
Which is funny cause most of the A Song of Ice and Fire fans I know IRL... are girls. OMG. Also most of my internet bff's who are SoIaF stans... yep, girls.
I don't like Cat, I despise Ned, I adore Sansa and I think Dany rocks... and I can't stand Jon fucking Snow. But all of that pales in comparison to my "ew" response to the way some of the male SoIaF fans seem to treat ONTD like something from an alternate dimension that is in danger of dripping poisonous estrogen onto their precious sandbox. How the hell this fandom is so War of the Sexes is like... amazing. I stand in awe.
Idek. But there's a reason I avoid most of the non-LJ GoT fandom like a plague: most of the SoIaF "fanboyz" I've encountered have been purely icky, to put it nicely and in small vocabulary terms. I mean, I don't judge them for secretly wanting to bang Dany/Melisandre/Ellaria/Oberyn/whoever. Damn.
Besides, calling Robb "King of the North of My Thighs" is hilarious. And totally fitting. Boy his hot
